Aside from fun, this experienced demographic also value quality and safety during their travels, with premium hospitality brands Kai Yuan, Marriot, Hilton, Hyatt and Accor being the top five hotel choices for this group.

The over-60 demographic accounts for close to 250 million people, or 18% of the total population in China, and has come to represent more than 20% of the country’s tourist segment.
